This special exhibition explores the historical narrative of underwater archaeological discoveries and presents the connections between the ocean and maritime battle relics. The focus lies on underwater cultural heritage in Taiwan and surrounding Asian waters, featuring topics such as naval warfare from the Ming and Qing dynasties to modern conflicts (including WWII warships and submarine remains), shipwrecks and ancient trade routes, the development of underwater archaeological techniques, digital restoration, and immersive VR experiences.

From the north via National Freeway: Exit at Jiuru Interchange, turn right onto Jiuru Road and continue to the museum.

From Kenting, Hengchun, or Linyuan: Take Zhongshan Road and merge onto the freeway, exit at Zhongzheng Interchange, turn left onto Zhongzheng Road, then right onto Dashun Road, and finally left at Juemin Road to reach the museum. Alternatively, take Minquan Road from Zhongshan Road, turn right onto Minsheng Road, then left onto Minzu Road, and right onto Jiuru Road to the museum.

From Pingtung: Take Fengping Road to Jianguo Road in Fengshan District, then connect to Jiuru Road in Kaohsiung City and continue to the museum.

TRA (Taiwan Railways): Disembark at Science and Technology Museum Station; it’s about a 10-minute walk to the museum.

Transfer at Zuoying Station to the TRA and ride to Science and Technology Museum Station, then walk about 10 minutes.

Alternatively, take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line to Kaohsiung Main Station (R11), then transfer to Bus No. 60 (Juemin Main Line) and get off at the museum stop.
